Reclaimer Industries

Restoring Soil, Not Just Feeding Crops

A living microbial biofertiliser made entirely from upcycled agricultural waste and naturally occurring soil microorganisms — rebuilding what decades of synthetic fertiliser use has stripped away.

Healthy soil biology

N-fixing bacteria active
Phosphate unlocked by fungi
Organic matter building
Root systems supported
Natural pathogen control
Water held in structure

After synthetic-only inputs

N-fixing bacteria suppressed
Phosphate locked in soil
Organic matter declining
Root systems stressed
Pathogens unchecked
Water runs off surface

Each season of synthetic-only management, the left column shrinks further — and so does the land's capacity to sustain a crop without intervention.

The Problem We're Solving

Synthetic fertilisers feed the crop but strip the microbial communities that make soil naturally productive — the organisms that fix nitrogen from the air, unlock nutrients already bound in the ground, and build organic matter. As soil biology declines, farmers must spend more each year on inputs to achieve diminishing returns.

Reclaimer Industries converts a waste problem into a regenerative, lower-cost, locally produced alternative — restoring the soil's own capacity to sustain crops, rather than simply feeding a single season.

Where most farms currently rely on three to five separate inputs — nitrogen fertiliser, phosphate, biostimulants, soil conditioners, and biocontrol agents — Reclaimer's living microbial consortium consolidates all of those functions into a single dilution-controlled product. One product. Less logistics. And biology that actively regenerates degraded soil rather than bypassing it.

40%

of UK soil is already biologically degraded after decades of synthetic fertiliser use.

+70%

projected rise in global food demand by 2050 — on land becoming less capable of producing it.

104%

rise in UK fertiliser costs between 2021 and 2022, exposing farmers to volatile global supply chains.

The Core Innovation

Our differentiator isn't a single microbe — it's a stable, working community, and the means of keeping it stable.

A Consortium, Not a Strain

Our product is a consortium of more than a dozen specialised bacteria and fungi, each with a defined role — nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilisation, organic matter building, root support. Most competing products deliver one of these functions; ours delivers them together, in one living product.

A Proprietary Growth Medium

Developed from upcycled agricultural waste, our selective growth medium allows this diverse microbial community to coexist, multiply, and function together rather than outcompete one another — the genuinely difficult part, and where the real engineering sits.

Dilution-Controlled Application

The consortium contains organisms suited to different crop stages, so the product is applied at different dilution ratios to favour whichever organisms are most useful — at germination versus flowering, for example — flexing across the growing cycle instead of requiring several products.

Ecosystem-Matched Biology

We use microbes adapted to local soil conditions rather than generic laboratory strains applied universally — biology that works with the existing soil ecosystem instead of against it.

One product. Multiple functions.

What Reclaimer Replaces

Most farms currently use three to five separate inputs to address what Reclaimer covers in one dilution-controlled product. That means fewer decisions, fewer deliveries, and a lower total input bill.

Nitrogen Fertiliser

Replaced by biological nitrogen fixation from free-living N-fixing bacteria in the consortium.

Phosphate Input

Replaced by phosphate-solubilising bacteria that unlock phosphorus already bound in the soil.

Biostimulant

Replaced by plant-growth-promoting organisms that boost root development and stress tolerance.

Soil Conditioner

Replaced by organic-matter-building microbes that restore soil structure and water retention.

Biocontrol Agent

Partially replaced by antagonistic microbes in the consortium that suppress pathogenic organisms.

Our Impact

Reclaimer turns agricultural waste and degraded soil — two of farming's most persistent problems — into a single regenerative solution.

Environmental

  • Restored soil biodiversity
  • Reduced synthetic-fertiliser carbon emissions
  • Circular use of agricultural waste
  • Potential soil-carbon sequestration (to be measured)

Social & Economic

  • Lower farmer input costs
  • Greater resilience to supply-chain shocks
  • Improved long-term land productivity
  • A more resilient domestic food system
